The Japanese website gerald.co.jp is operated by Gerald K.K. and governed by the terms published there.

These Terms cover use of the website only. Consulting, managed services, implementation, and any other professional engagement are governed exclusively by the separate written agreements between Gerald and the client; where those agreements differ from these Terms, the agreements prevail.

You may use this website only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without authorization;
• interfere with the site's operation (including denial-of-service or automated scraping that burdens the service);
• transmit malware;
• misrepresent your identity or submit false information in forms or job applications;
• or use site content in violation of the intellectual-property terms below.

Where you submit information through the site — contact forms, bookings, downloads, or job applications — you confirm the information is accurate and that you are authorized to provide it.

The parties will first attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute informally by contacting each other. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, and the parties consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Gerald regarding use of the website.

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. We may assign these Terms in connection with a corporate transaction; you may not assign them.
